Alumni Advisory Board

The Alumni Advisory Board assists chapter leadership by providing advice and counsel in chapter operations, finances, health and safety, and other areas as needed. Advisors are typically part of a team. For the chapter, the team approach offers more perspectives and expertise than one alumnus could possibly provide. For alumni, it makes advising a much more manageable and enjoyable experience.

The Alumni Advisory Board consists of members who can offer the following:

• Their professional expertise and support to the undergraduate chapter
• A commitment to helping the chapter improve
• Counsel and advice to chapter leadership
• Assistance in the areas of academics, leadership, undergraduate recruitment and financial management
• Emphasis on the intangible aspects of fraternalism – Ritual, brotherhood, motivation, unity and caring for one another
• Up-to-date progress on new ideas, tools and fraternal programs

The International Fraternity maintains full-time staff to support alumni advisory boards and provides various resources for alumni advisors.

Gamma Xi Golf Tournament

Attention all golfers, the 31st Annual Gamma Xi Alumni Association Golf Tournament will be held on Saturday, August 8th, at the Willows Run Golf Course in Redmond, WA.  The event is limited to 64 players and the format is a Scramble.  For more details and to access the entry form, go to the Gamma Xi Alumni Association website (https://sites.omegafi.com/pikewashst/) or simply click on the following link (2020 Entry Form Link).  Please enter and pay as a foursome, if you're unable to fill a foursome please contact one of the following Alumni Members.

For those that weren't able to join us last year, the 31st annual Gamma Xi Alumni Association golf tournament was held on August 10th, 2019 at Willows Run Golf Course in Redmond, Washington. Fourty-eight golfers competed in the event representing four decades of Gamma Xi Alumni.  The foursome of Davis Hanssen (’05), Mike Malmquist (’05), Brandon Burnstead (’06) and Stephen Trenary (’06) won the scramble competition. Special thanks to Matt Leonard (’08) for his tournament coordination efforts once again this year!
